Home of Curtain Poles, Rails and Accessories.
In the summer of 2015 we began to donate our excess fabric, which can sometimes be as much as 80 metres a week, to very worthy causes, including Wakefield Hospice, Oxfam and the British Red Cross, just to name a few.
We even went a step further when we helped out Wakefield Hospice; not only did we donate our excess fabric to them, we also donated several blinds to their building, even going to the hospice to install them in the windows ourselves.
In more recent times, we have been getting a bit more creative in the ways we’ve helped the less fortunate. Our current charity campaign has helped out hospices and hospitals all over the country; we are, of course, talking about our syringe driver bag campaign, which has received a lot of press coverage. Our seamstresses have sacrificed countless hours of their own time, unpaid, to create these works of art out of our excess fabric.
There’s also our Bundles of Fun, comprising of a fantastic mixture of fabric strips in a gorgeously packaged box, which we have donated to the Make a Wish foundation to encourage kids to get creative with our fabric.
This is only the beginning, and we plan to introduce many more creative initiatives to help other people in the very near future, so watch this space!
